Ingredients
- 2 cups almond meal
- 3/4 cup tahini
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt flakes
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup Gut Food
- Sesame seeds, for sprinkling
Instructions
Preheat oven to 150°C fan forced and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Add almond meal, tahini, maple syrup, sea salt, vanilla extract and Gut Food to a mixing bowl. Stir until a rough dough forms.
Roll approximately 2 tablespoons of mixture into balls using the palms of your hands, then gently flatten into cookie shapes.
Place onto the prepared tray and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 10 minutes, then switch the oven off and leave cookies inside for an additional 5 minutes to lightly brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
Storage
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
