My Nourished Blend Gut Food Muesli Bars are a delicious quick and easy option. Great snack the whole family will love, loaded with Gut loving ingredients. Best part - no baking required!
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 1/4 cup linseeds
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 3/4 cup organic oats
- 1/4 cup Gut Food
- 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 tbl psyllium husk
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 tbl Ceylon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cacao butter, melted
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped medjool dates
- 3 tbl tahini paste
- 3-4 drops orange, lemon or lime oil
- 1 tbl maple syrup (or to taste if your kids are used to a little more sweetness)
INSTRUCTIONS
Add nuts, seeds, oats, Gut Food, coconut, monk fruit, cinnamon, salt and psyllium husk into a food processor and blend until the mixture resembles a ground texture.
Add melted cacao butter, water, tahini, orange oil and dates and maple syrup and blend together until mixture holds together when pressed.
Press mixture into a baking paper lined square loaf tin and refrigerate until firm. Once firm slice into bars.
